Theonewiththeleg stuck to her task well to get off the mark in the mares maiden hurdle at Sligo. Mark Enright produced his mount to lead before the second last in the two-miler but she was soon tackled by Jolaine Kevin McDonagh's charge proved too strong for that rival in the closing stages as she recorded a half-length victory. “She stayed on well and deserved to win a race,” said McDonagh. “She ran well when third here before and also ran well enough at Ballinrobe last time. “We'll go up the road with her now (Galway) and might run her on the Flat. “She was doing nothing there before the other horse came to her and Mark said she won easily.”
