Lewis completes bumper hat-trick

Shu Lewis made it three wins from three starts when taking the concluding bumper at Tipperary in good style.

Linzi Dowdall produced her mount with a strong run to lead just inside the final furlong and the 7/2 shot soon had matters in hand.

The daughter of Pyrus could afford to ease down close home to record a three-parts-of-a-length success over Maller Tree in a strong looking contest.

Trainer Monica Dowdall Blake, the winning rider's aunt, looks to have an exciting prospect on her hands after the mare supplemented wins at Wexford and Punchestown.

"The mare does all the talking!" said Dowdall Blake afterwards.

"I didn't know if she would go on the ground or if she would go left handed.

"Her first time on grass was her first run at Punchestown as she did all her work on the Old Vic (gallop on the Curragh).

"There is a half-sister by Mustameet coming up for sale shortly."
