Danick Of Time travelled well in front in the Horseware.com Apprentice Maiden but it was a long way home from under a quarter of a mile out for supporters of the odds-on favourite.
The gambled-on Casimir Road (12/1 this morning into 4/1) was 'under the cosh' from some way out but he kept finding for Ronan Whelan whilst Atmospheric High (reported to have hung badly from the turn-in) stayed on as the runners approach the business end too. In the end Danick Of Time held off those two rivals by half a length and a head.

Conor Hoban was the successful jockey and he said: "He was a bit unlucky the last day as he just ran into one too good (2nd to Aragorn Rouge three weeks back here).
"He likes making the running and I was always happy he'd hang on when the others came at him." Zvonareave was reported to be clinically abnormal afterwards. (AM & EM)
