The 1/3 favourite Line Drummer made all to take the opener at Tipperary this evening, the Camas Park Stud EBF 2yo Maiden.

Trained by Aidan O’Brien and ridden by Joseph, the son of Galileo had two runs to his name before today finishing second over the course and distance last month behind stablemate The Ferryman while last time out he finished a disappointing third behind Thunder Mountain at Galway when sent off the 2/5 favourite.

With just two rivals to face today and one being a stable companion, he set off in front and was ridden a furlong out.

He kept on well to the line to score by a length and a quarter from Jan Van Eyck in second at 6/1 under Shane Foley for Ken Condon.

Ballydoyle newcomer Ballyglasheen finished a further six lengths back in third at 10/3 under Colm O’Donoghue.

Winning rider Joseph O’Brien said afterwards: "It is soft ground and he won nicely. He will probably go for a Nursery next."
