After disappointing on his debut over hurdles Childrens List got it right on his second attempt as he took the Tramore Racecourse Supporters Club Maiden Hurdle.

The Willie Mullins trained gelding won a bumper over the course in April before finishing third over flights at Killarney.

Sent off the 1/2 favourite here he made all and despite jumping left he held off the late surge of Ballinaboola Prince by half a length.

The runner-up was returned at 22/1 under Danny Mullins for his father Tony while Victoryrowe (16/1) finished a further length and three parts back in third under Stephen Gray for James Barrett.

Willie Mullins said afterwards: "He didn't appear to enjoy going right handed although he has won here twice now. He was hanging left.

"I will look for something over two and a half mile plus for him now and maybe going left handed.

"Looking at that he has a career over fences given the way he jumped."
