Loughaderra Prince stepped up on his promising third place at Listowel when making all for a snug victory in Naas.

The 13/8 joint favourite brought up a treble for trainer Alan Fleming and owner Barry Connell. They were earlier successful with Velvet Maker and All You Need

Jockey Finny Maguire could afford a couple of looks round his shoulder with less than three furlongs to race.

At the two pole, his mount held all the aces as Rocklander and Blood Crazed Tiger were well off the bridle in pursuit.

Maguire merely nudged his charge out to win by three and a half lengths from fellow 13/8 joint favourite Blood Crazed Tiger, who could make no impression in second.

Alan Fleming said: "He looks a decent horse. I'm not sure what Barry (Connell) wants to do with him, whether he'll go hurdling or not.

"He'll be a real decent three-mile horse in time. He has all the schooling in the world done and jumps great."
