Lounaos retired

The Eoin Griffin trained Lounaos has been retired to stud following a disappointing run in the Mitchelstown Hurdle at Cork today.

The five year old mare failed to show her best form, and eventually finished a well beaten fifth, behind winner Robin Du Bois

Afterwards Griffin reported "Lounaos has given us some great days but has not been showing her old sparkle recently. She will be retired to stud in the Spring."
