Niall 'Slippers' Madden put in a good performance when winning division 1 of The Panoramic Restaurant (C&G) Maiden Hurdle aboard the Mouse Morris trained Baily Rock at odds of 25/1.
Madden was always prominent on the Supreme Leader gelding, challenged approaching 2 out, led before last where slight mistake and the pair kept on well under a strong drive to hold off the efforts of 1/1 favourite Prima Vista of Noel Meade's.
Winning trainer Morris said afterwards, "To be honest I thought the ground was gone for him. He is a good ground horse and we will keep him going throughout the Summer now."
