The market vibes are positive for Djakadam on his seasonal reappearance in the Grade One John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase today.

The six-year-old gelding signed off his last campaign with runner-up finishes in the Cheltenham Gold Cup and Punchestown Gold Cup.

He returns off a break of 221 days but has been supported from 9/4 to 7/4 to land the 51,000 euro first prize for Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh.

Elsewhere on the card, Henry de Bromhead's Sizing Gold is 9/2 from 6/1 in the two mile six handicap chase. He has been off track for 583 days.

The Big Apple is a notable non runner in the two and a half mile maiden hurdle. Yorkhill is a very solid 2/5 favourite in this contest.
