The market got it right in the two-and-a-half mile maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse as Seefood ran out an easy winner.
Dessie Hughes' charge was backed from 3/1 into 9/4 while market rival War Correspondent proved a drifter from 6/4 out to 2/1 favourite. Kims Fancy soon poached a clear lead but her advantage was cut at the third last flight.
Seefood tackled the front-runner at the next and kicked on before the last.
He powered clear in the closing stages to record a 12-length victory. Share Wood got up for second close home to deny Kims Fancy.
The favourite War Correspondent, a half-brother to War Of Attrition, couldn't pick up as he finished a one-paced fourth.
The winner was following up a Clonmel bumper success at the end of last month.
"He was impressive and he might be good enough for the novices looking at that. He quickened up well," said Hughes afterwards.
"He's really only had one piece of work since his bumper win at Clonmel.
"Bryan said he's quick enough for two miles so I'd say we could look at anything from two to two-and-a-half for him."
