McCullagh doubles up on Bramante

Jockey Niall McCullagh completed a double at Dundalk this evening when steering the Charles O’Brien trained Bramante to win the Dundalk Stadium Handicap (div 1).

McCullagh timed his run to perfection on the son of Peintre Celebre, moving the five year old to the front inside the final furlong for a two and a quarter lengths win over Horsewithnoname (whose rider put up 2lbs overweight).

O’Brien was absent but McCullagh did say “Bramante was crying out for that trip and he did it nicely.”
