McDonogh shines on Ridge

Declan McDonogh gave Elusive Ridge a fine front-running ride to land the mile-and-a-quarter handicap at Dundalk.

Harry Rogers' charge kept on strongly in the closing stages to post a two-length victory over Carazam

It was the jockey's first winner for the handler and he was full of praise for the enterprising ride.

"It was a good ride. He dictated well on him. That's his first winner for me and he was very good on him," said Rogers.

"He might come back here for a premier handicap."
