McDonogh to Stand And Fight

Declan McDonogh made it an easy pillar to post victory when winning the 02 Mobile Broadband EBF Maiden aboard 7/4 favourite Stand And Fight of Kevin Prendergasts in the colours of the trainers wife.

McDonogh was always confident on the Invincible Spirit gelding, the pair made all and were clear from over 1f out and stayed on well to win by an easy 5 1/2 lengths.

"He's as good a two-year-old as I've had for many a day and it's possible we could go for the Norfolk at Royal Ascot with him," said Kevin Prendergast by phone.
