The second division saw Teachers Choice spring a 16/1 shock when scoring on his handicap debut on his return to action for new trainer Caroline Hutchinson.

Bobby Molloy picked up a winning spare ride on Dark Vocation in the Sherry Fitzgerald Killeen/O'Toole Handicap Hurdle. Joey Elliott was left sore after Hard To Handle ran out in the previous contest.

Dark Vocation was well beaten here on Monday night but surged into the lead turning for home to give trainer John Bowles his first winner for over a year.
