Philip Carberry sent his mount on two out and he stayed on strongly after the last to score by four-and-a-half lengths from Five Years On.
Rothwell also claimed the other maiden hurdle when Mr Blacktie benefited from a strong ride by Andrew McNamara in the San Dennigan & Co Maiden Hurdle.

'We did have a frustrating few weeks with lots of seconds and it's nice to turn it around,' said Rothwell.
