Those who took the prohibitive odds about the Willie Mullins-trained Our Matti in the Slievenamon Maiden Hurdle had their fingers burnt when the 1-3 market leader could only fill the runner-up spot.
Ruby Walsh moved his mount into contention on the long run to the penultimate flight, but he was hard at work to do so and jumped the last a length adrift of Storm Plan.
