Dovaly (20/1) captured the #100,000 Compaq Galway Plate when running on from the turn-in under a tremendous ride from Tom Rudd to defeat 1st res. Monty`s Pass by 3L.

In a race where just 15 completed the course, the final two obstacles were omitted in the closing stages which didn`t help leader Duinin (4th) who had jumped for fun throughout under Philip Carberry.
