The J P McManus-owned Streets Of Gold landed a real touch in the featured two miles Dove Hill Irish Design Centre Handicap.
The dual purpose gelding, successful in a maiden hurdle here in the spring, was backed from 9/2 down to 5/2 favourite and never gave punters a worry as he cruised home under Fran Berry to beat Whoneedswings by two lengths.
'Fran said he loved the ease in the ground and the blinkers helped to sharpen him up. He will mix it over the summer between hurdles and the Flat,' said McManus' racing manager Frank Berry.
