Ridden by Barry Geraghty, Some Legend chased the leaders before making progress to lead after three out, staying on well to turn over 8/11 favourite Ponmeoath.
Winning trainer Edward O'Grady later mentioned 'he'll probably go chasing next.'

The gelded son of In The Wings showed the benefit of four admittedly average previous outings when staying on well for a six length win under Shane Gorey.
The Waterford & Tramore Directors Claiming Race went to well backed 2/1 favourite Gilberto, who stayed on best under Chris Hayes to lead inside the final furlong, for a length and a half success.
Winning trainer Pat Martin later reported 'he won a Leopardstown maiden for Eddie Lynam but developed a back problem which needed some time to fix.'
He added 'it took him a while to enjoy racing but the step up in trip was a big help.'
Martin later reclaimed Gilberto for E10,561, beating off two other claims.
Joanna Morgan's Scent made all to win the Guillamene Maiden under Wayne Lordan while Ruby Walsh and Willie Mullins combined to land the handicap hurdle with Spiritual Society.
