Amorini turned the feature event at Wexford into a stroll when cruising home in The People Newspapers Bettyville Handicap Chase.

Trainer Philip Rothwell was completing a double when the gelding was eased down by Johnny Allen to land the Listed event by four-and-a-half lengths from Aimees Mark.

The Shernazar gelding had jumped to the head of affairs four out and had matters in hand two from home. He didn't need to be extended to secure victory.

'I'm delighted for his owner Gerard Burke as he has been a great supporter of mine,' said Rothwell afterwards.

The Tinahely handler had initiated a brace when Another Notice made all to beat Bye The Best by four lengths in the opening Wexford Block Ltd Maiden Hurdle.

Jason Fortune was partnering his first winner since turning professional and Rothwell was full of praise for the 7lb claimer afterwards.

Beautiful Vision made it two from two over hurdles with an impressive performance in the INH Stallion Owners EBF Novice Hurdle.

Shane McGovern sent the well backed 11/8f into the lead two out and he soon skipped clear, easing down close home for a nine-length margin over Lenrey.

'He jumped very professionally, travelled well and won snugly,' said trainer Tom Taaffe. 'We'll find something over Christmas for him.'

John Cullen also secured a double on the card and was seen at his strongest when getting Fox Point home in the Newbay Country House & Restaurant Handicap Hurdle.

The 9/4f was under pressure from the second last but Cullen kept him going and forced him into the lead on the run-in to beat Thatsharib by a length-and-a-half.

Cullen's positive tactics on Coljon paid off in the CJ O'Loughlin & Sons Beginners Chase as he ran out a comfortable 14-length winner over Homer Wells.

Long Journey was produced with a perfectly timed run by David Maher to claim the Martinstown Oportunity Handicap Hurdle while Graprevine Sally (1/1f) justified her short price with an easy success in the bumper.
