Morris delighted with China reappearance

High class chaser China Rock made his return to action in the Noel Farrelly Memorial Hurdle at Punchestown today, finished a credible fourth on his comeback run from injury.

The conqueror of Sizing Europe in October 2010 injured a tendon in last season’s Cheltenham Gold Cup and had been absent since.

Afterwards today's effort, his trainer Mouse Morris stated “I’m delighted with him and the Hennessy Gold Cup is the plan but we’ll have to wait and see how he is in the morning.”
