Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh were back in the winner’s enclosure after recording a quick double when 9/2 shot Dawn Valentino ran out a 1 ¼ length win of the www.thetote.com Maiden Hurdle.
“At long last she has really come on and grown in strength and in confidence. We will probably bring her back to the flat and try win a flat race with her”, said a delighted Mullins.
“Time was probably all she wanted and going over hurdles has really given her a new lease of life”.
