Trainer John Murphy admits Hot Sauce will have to raise her game to make her presence felt in the Kilboy Estate Stakes at the Curragh today.

After hinting at promise as a juvenile, the daughter of Peintre Celebre made a successful start to her three-year-old career with an impressive display at Gowran Park in late April.

She performed admirably to finish a close third in a competitive Curragh handicap a month later and raised her game to another level when touched off in a Listed event at Newbury in early June.

"She's in good shape, I just hope the ground isn't too heavy as there's talk of a lot of rain coming in Sunday morning," said Murphy.

"It's possibly a furlong shorter than her ideal trip and on the ratings she's not in the zone, but we're hoping for a good run and we'll see what she can do."
