Racing will take place at Naas this afternoon following an early morning inspection.

Officials decided to take a look with temperatures predicted to drop well below freezing but the Co. Kildare track was found to be fit for racing.

The going remains soft to heavy.

The action gets underway at 12.45, and the feature on a seven-race card is the Grade 2 Woodlands Park 100 Club Novice Chase where Pont Alexandre faces three rivals.

Willie Mullins will also have a short-priced favourite in the Grade 3 Limestone Lad Hurdle as Sempre Medici looks the one to beat.
