John Gosden reports Nathaniel in good form this morning after his agonising defeat to Danedream in the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot yesterday.

The Galileo colt was only caught in the final stride as he bidded to follow up last year's win in the mile and a half highlight, and Gosden, speaking after the Darley Irish Oaks success of Great Heavens at the Curragh, is thrilled with the four-year-old.

"He ate up well and is fine. The great thing is that he doesn't know he got beat. He thinks it was a dead-heat!

"The races we are looking at for him are the Juddmonte International, the Arc and the Champion Stakes' at Leopardstown and Newmarket. He will probably run in two of those," added the in-form Newmarket trainer.
