Navan suspensions

Jockeys Johnny King and Andrew Lynch were on the receiving end of suspensions at Navan today for using their whips with excessive frequency.

King received a three day suspension for his winning ride on Powerstation in the Proudstown Handicap Hurdle having been adjudged to have used his whip with excessive frequency and failing to give his mount time to respond.

Lynch received his two day suspension for using his whip with excessive frequency on Berties Dream in the beginners’ chase.
