Lisa O'Neill enjoyed a victory on Sizing Rome (4/1) in the Peggy Hagan Memorial Hunters Steeplechase over two miles seven in Down Royal.

The six-year-old gelding was pushed along to get on terms at the second last and led narrowly at the final fence.

He had too much in the locker for 5/2 favourite Eddies Miracle as he put that rival away by four and a half lengths on the run-in.

Lisa O'Neill said: "He did (pick up lovely). Tom and Jim (Dreaper) have done a great job with him, he has really come to himself today and the better ground definitely helped.

"He was long at the last but it was probably the winning of the race. All credit to him.

"Tom and Jim are very good to ride for so it was nice to get the ride."

This was a second winner on the card for the Ann & Alan Potts Limited colours as Moonshine Bay won the Belfast Live Hurdle.
