On The Way Out alive and kicking

The John Kiely trained On The Way Out ran out the neck winner of the Kildownet Group Maiden Hurdle at Fairyhouse today.

The race, in common with the earlier two, was run in thick fog but On The Way ran out the neck winner over well backed 2/1 favourite Judge Roy Been.

Afterwards, Kiely reported "On The Way Out has always promised a lot and was a bit unlucky last time out at Punchestown as the race was almost over when he got going. He'll run next over Christmas."
