The John Oxx trained Adaliya, under Michael Kinane, arrived late to win the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden (Div 1) at Dundalk tonight.
The daughter of Sinndar was under pressure behind the leaders two furlongs out but, once switched to the outer a furlong out, stayed on well to deny Pozyc by half a length.
Afterwards Oxx reported "Adaliya had the form to win this and quickened up well when she needed to. She liked the surface and will step up in trip next year."
