The concluding race on this afternoon’s card, the Dunshaughlin Handicap was won by the John Oxx trained Adjaliya under Mick Kinane.
Jim O’Neill assistant to John Oxx said afterwards: “We will stick these type races for her, she might even go a bit further.”
“The blinkers first time seemed to have helped today she was a bit sluggish the last time she ran.”
A Stewards Enquiry was called as the winner got a bit close to the second in the closing stages of the race but there was no alteration made to the judge’s placings.
