Penny's Bill back in winner's enclosure

Liz Doyle's Penny's Bill returned to the winner's enclosure for the first time since he won the Pierce Hurdle in January '09 when easily taking the Souths Bar Beginners Chase at Limerick today, under Sean Flanagan.

The son of Rashar jumped well apart from a bad error six out, and won by an eased down eight lengths from Kennel Bridge

Afterwards Doyle stated “the step up in trip helped Penny's Bill and we ran him over hurdles on his latest run to keep his novice chase status. He jumps so well we may think about running him in the Galway Plate.”
