The Light Syndicate have got plenty of 'days out' from their eleven-year-old Preswell Lad and he returned to the scene of his winning bumper debut when with Michael Fitzgerald back in February 2008 when landing the Bet With The Tote Handicap at Downpatrick.

Also a dual winner at Tramore, Preswell Lad obviously likes undulating tracks and with the father and son team of Michael and Mickey now in the training and riding roles he landed this prize by nine lengths from Jim Bowie

Butler senior said: "I was hoping he'd run well. He's a long time hanging around and he lost his way.

"He jumped very well after having his last run was over hurdles.

"We've travelled up from Kilkenny and that'll make the journey home shorter." (MG & EM)
