Prince D'Aubrelle ran out a facile winner of the bumper at Killarney, the Malton.com (Pro-Am) I.N.H. Flat Race, under Patrick Mullins for his father Willie.

Second on his first two starts the French bred son of Malinas made the breakthrough at Galway on his last outing and he was sent off the 9/10 favourite to follow-up this evening having opened at evens on-course.

Sent straight into the lead the chestnut gelding made all and never came off the bridle, stretching clear from over a furlong out, going on to win by nine lengths. All The Answers (11/4) briefly challenged entering the straight but he ultimately finished a well-beaten second under Sarah O'Brien for her father Aidan. Poetic Lady (3/1 to 11/4) never looked like winning and she was thirteen lengths back in third while Moscow Prices was twenty-five lengths back in last.

Patrick Mullins said afterwards: "He is improving with every run but can be a little fresh and fiery.

"He doesn't have to make the running but it suited to do so on the day. He stays very well and while he's probably a good ground horse, there are plenty of races to be won with him."
