Punters in dreamland at Tramore

Ever Dreaming landed a touch when getting up on the line in the two and a half miles handicap hurdle.

Pat Managan's mount was available at 12/1 before racing and punted right down to 9/2 favourite at the off.

The six-year-old mares had plenty to do in the dip but stayed on really well on the run-in to catch the always prominent Kalmez (12/1) in the final stride.

“She's a tough mare. The ground didn't suit her at Down Royal the last day, and she wanted that good ground. We'll step her up to three miles and I think she'll get it,” said Tallow-based trainer John Morrison.
