Quad completes double for Casey and Mullins

Quadrillon justified his skinny price (1/3f) when running out a convincing winner of the second division of the 2m4f maiden hurdle at Cork.

David Casey was recording a double for trainer Willie Mullins after the victory of Our Monty in the feature race.

The French-bred gelding took it up from leader Ikidunot three from home and forged clear after the second last to record a seven-length victory.

"He did it very well. He had solid bumper form coming here and transfered that to hurdles," said stable representative Gary Davies.

"It looked like he might have a little bit of competition two out but once he went past the other horse he stayed on well and won well in the end."
