Trainer Jim Culloty's horses have hit form in recent weeks and his Qualviro came good at the sixth time of asking over hurdles when winning the Madigans Bar At Punchestown Maiden Hurdle at Punchestown today.
Ridden by the capable Tom Doyle, made virtually all, and despite being headed briefly two out, rallied gamely in the straight to see off the challenge of Gates Of Rome by three parts of a length.
Culloty was not present for the win, which was jockey Doyle's ninth win of the season.
