Our Ned s win in the Limerickraces.ie Mares Beginners Chase at Limerick today made it three wins in as many months for her trainer Richie Rath, scoring a 16/1 upset under Andrew Lynch in the process.

Rath, whose four year old point to pointer Rathmore Rebel won well at Dromahane last winter and has reportedly since been sold, had winners in May and June with his Close Review.

Following today's win, Rath stated “we fancied her each-way and would have been disappointed if she didn't finish third behind the two favourites (Silver Chief and Roisin Dubh . She loves good ground and also wants three miles and we'll look for a handicap next.”
