Jessica Harrington's Rock The World rallied well to get back up and beat The Game Changer in the featured Grade Three Ballybrit Novice Chase in Galway.

The 11/10 favourite set out to make all in this two and a quarter mile contest. He faced three rivals but entering the final half mile only The Game Changer (7/4) was still on the premises.

The Game Changer travelled well as he tracked the leader a length back in second. Once the two rivals negotiated the final fences it was The Game Changer who appeared to be going much the better.

Rock The World came off the bridle as Barry Geraghty started to ask for more. It is a long run from the last fence to the line in Galway and it was The Game Changer who edged ahead as they straightened for home. He traded at 1/25 in-running.

However, Rock The World refused to go away and responded to Geraghty's urgings in the last 200 yards and got back ahead with 100 yards to race. He finished off best to prevail by two lengths.

Barry Geraghty said: "He looked beaten but battled well and pulled it out when it was needed. He'll get further and jumps great."

Guitar Pete was a non runner due to coughing.
