Running Late makes good time at Limerick

Running Late ran out the easy winner of the Ice Broadband Beginners Chase at Limerick this evening, recording a second winner in two days for trainer Colm Murphy.

Well ridden by former Champion Jockey Barry Geraghty, the son of Presenting moved through to lead four out, before staying on well in the straight for an eased down two and a half length win.

Afterwards, Murphy reported "Running Late deserved that as he has been unlucky. The key to him is fast ground and hopefully he can now continue to pay his way!"
