Handicap first-timer Seamus Mor sprung a 16/1 surprise in the Tote Super Trifecta Handicap Hurdle at Naas for trainer Colin Kidd and rider Sean Flanagan.
After the Shantou gelding had led before two out on the way to a fifteen length dismissal of Sunsetstorise (the pair had been the first two throughout) Kidd remarked: "He's improving with each run and I told Sean to make plenty of use of him with his weight.
"Hopefully he can win another handicap before he goes chasing.
"The deeper the ground the better and he's a typical Shantou in that he's very tough.
"I'm delighted for the owners, Victor and Rachel Treacy (they also bred the gelding). They are the most loyal and genuine owners you could have."
Meanwhile Flanagan said: "He was green enough there again today but we just rode him a bit more positive. He had a nice weight and he did it well.
"I was going best of all when I turned in and I hit the front but he's so green that he sort of ran with me a bit. I only kind of held my position up the straight as he was very tired going to the line.
"I was in America for a couple of months and it all went well for me there. I'm back and I'm happy as I'm down with Harry Kelly a couple of days a week now.
"I'm kind of floating around a few different places as well and as I'm happy with the way everything is going I'll probably stick around. Every winner definitely helps too." (AM & EM)
