Seville another for Ballydoyle at Tipp

Seville completed a short-priced double for Ballydoyle in the opening races at Tipperary, again like his stable companion Obligation this fellow, another son of Galileo, made all to convincingly take the Longfield Stables Race.

There was never much danger of the well-backed Seville (8/13 fav) getting beaten and he lengthened on under Joseph O'Brien (now five behind in the race to be top apprentice) when required to see off Triple Eight by five and a half lengths.

Gerry Ahern, representing Ballydoyle, said: "Joseph said he hated the ground which is deep and tacky. He could be a real nice horse and we're delighted with him."

Of course Seville and Obligation were second and third in the same maiden at Gowran eight days ago, behind Dermot Weld's Dubai Prince.
