The Gigginstown House Stud owned Enjoy Responsibly gained a maiden racecourse win, on his first try over fences, in the Limerick's Live 95fm Beginners Chase at Limerick today, scoring for trainer Henry De Bromhead and completing a double on the day for jockey Kevin Sexton.

The point-to-point winning son of Flemensfirth raced prominently throughout and improved to lead with a circuit to race. From there, Enjoy Responsibly maintained a strong gallop and eventually held on for a three and a quarter lengths win over The Cub

De Bromhead was absent but Sexton, last year's Champion Conditional Jockey and earlier successful on Well Tuned later stated “he (Enjoy Responsibly) jumped brilliantly and was always professional in his jumping but was very disappointing over hurdles when he never got home.”

“He jumped so well today he took me to the front down the back and in the end all I was worried about was getting him safely over the last two fences. Fences seems the way forward for him.”
