Shane Butler won this season's (2012/13) Martinstown Opportunity Jockeys' Series, having taken third place on The Crafty Butcher in today's Final of the series, moving the rider to 57 points for the season.
Butler's five points gained on The Crafty Butcher moved him two points ahead of runner-up Jody McGarvey with Jimmy Mangan taking the Trainer's Award.
Butler can now begin pricing sunglasses as he is to join a shortlist of jockeys for selection for the Australian Jockeys Series later this summer.
