Pat Smullen recorded a double this afternoon when winning The Castlemartin Stud EBF Garnet Stakes (Listed Race) aboard the Dermot Weld trained Mad About You and owned by The Moyglare Stud Farm.
"Her form entitled her to win after being placed in four Group 1 races. The plan is to keep her in training and if she is to run again it will be in The Breeders Cup Mares & Fillies Turf at Santa Anita in two months time. We will have to see how she comes out of the race and will discuss it with the owners" said winning trainer Dermot Weld.
Smullen recorded his 76th winner of the season making him two winners in front of Fran Berry and Johnny Murtagh in the race for Jockeys Title.
