Sweet win for Murtagh

Jockey Johnny Murtagh continues to lead Jockeys’ Championship and partnered the Charles O’Brien trained Tupelo Honey to her maiden win in the Meath Handicap at Navan today.

O’Brien was not present for the daughter of Sadler’s Wells’ win while Murtagh is now on the 70 winner mark for the season, two clear of nearest pursuer Pat Smullen.
