Tatiana stopped in her tracks but still wins

There was strong competition for racing room at the quarter mile pole of the www.dundalkstadium.com Handicap and Flavia Tatiana (nicely backed on track) briefly suffered in the incident. However at the business end that made little difference to the daughter of Holy Roman Emperor as she strode to a good win under Joseph O'Brien.

Previously a course and distance winner, Flavia Tatiana looked a big threat to all as soon as she got in the clear and she eventually beat Elizabeth Coffee (she beat that filly here in October too) by two and a quarter lengths. The well-backed favourite Joe Eile (13/2 into 7/2) had to settle for third place.

Joseph rode Flavia Tatiana for his Mum and Dad, Annmarie and Aidan and he said: "They went a good pace up front and she settled well.

"When I switched her out to get a run she came home well." (AM & EM)
