The God Of Love does the business

Philip Rothwell´s The God Of Love ran out the cosy half length winner of the Colm Foley Memorial, under a somewhat cheeky ride from Davy Russell.

The God Of Love, gelded, raced prominently, moved to challenge front-running The Pillar Of Hercules at the second last, and although gave punters a brief moment of concern, eventually hit the front on the run-in for a cosy win.

Afterwards Rothwell reported "The God Of Love needs a super fast gallop and will either go for the Galway Hurdle or a Novice Hurdle at Galway next."
