The Sneezer blows the opposition away

The Sneezer made all and was soon clear under Tom Doyle who kept the Topanoora gelding up to his work from before two out, keeping on well to beat Mask Of Darkness by fourteen lengths in the St Paul's Children with Autism Challenge Handicap Chase at Fairyhouse.

Tom Nagle trains The Sneezer, a handicap hurdle winner in the past, and this was a real family success as the Killavullen, Mallow, County Cork clan also bred and own the eight-year-old.

Nagle said: "Tom thought the ground wasn't as deep as what he ran on the last day and that helped him. He got a very easy lead and Tom had suggested that we drive on with him today.

"He's a great judge of pace. This is a small horse but he's a great jumper."

Kilkenny jockey Doyle had a nice winner during the week on Smokey Joe Joe at Limerick but he had to bounce back quickly after a nasty tumble he took from Oscar Mac at Thurles on Thursday.
