Jockey Tom Doyle rarely makes headlines, despite riding 20 plus winners a season, but is more than capable at getting ‘the job done’ and partnered The Sneezer to win the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Handicap Chase at Gowran today.
Doyle made most of the running on the Tom Nagle trained gelding who eventually held the challenge of Tiernan’s Terror.
Afterwards Nagle stated “Tom (Doyle) gave The Sneezer a great ride and gets on really well with him.”
He added “he won over two miles the last day but we were more worried about the ground that the trip today as it is very heavy. The handicapper will have a grip over him now but we can’t complain too much having had two nice wins.”
