At the final stage of a season at Kilbeggan, where Jessica Harrington and Mark Walsh were the leading trainer and rider respectively, Wexford pair Richie Rath and J J Slevin were the men to follow in the finale, their Moylisha Tim taking the Athlone (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race.

On what was a good evening for Model County men in Westmeath - following on from a double for Ben Dalton, and a victory for Paul Nolan - Slevin soon had Moylisha Tim (12/1) in a prominent position.

On terms from six furlongs out, Moylisha Tim led from three furlongs out, and he warded off the danger posed by the patiently ridden, and well-backed Taras Call by two and three parts of a length.

There were ten lengths back to the favourite, John Monash in third.

Owner/breeder Timmy Farrell was on hand for the win, whilst trainer Rath was on lead up duty.
